Ride Em' Son!

While I was babysitting Michael

I had been in my room doing homework for a while and decided I'd better check on Michael and make sure he wasn't into anything he shouldn't be.

"Michael? Where are you buddy?" I called out.

"RIDE EM' COWBOY!" he responded.

"What? What are you doing out there?" I called getting closer to his voice.

"RIDE EM' COWBOY!" He called back.

I heard a loud thumping as I came closer to the living room.

"What's that sound bud?"

"RIDE EM' COWBOY!" He said once more.

As I rounded the corner, the living room came into sight. There was Michael in the center of it. He had a pair of toy story underwear on his head and was galloping around and around in circles.

"RIDE EM' COWBOY! RIDE EM' SON! WA-HOO!!!"

I'm about 85% sure my brother is mentally handicapped

Poetry ~ By Emily Silvey

"Too"

By Emily Silvey - 5 years old

A unicorn is colorful and pretty
Their wings are colorful too
Dinosaurs are big and scary
Their teeth are scary too
A cat is fuzzy and furry
Its tail is fuzzy too
Rainbows are colorful and shiny
Their gold is shiny too
People are weird and stupid
And you are stupid too

Update!

Hello everyone!

It came to my attention recently that the comments section was only open to followers. I know not all my readers have a blogger account or a google account and couldn't post comments. But I just fixed it! Yay! So feel free to comment to your hearts desire guys! All your support in commenting, reposting to your social pages, and following has been amazing. Keep up the good work ;)

In other "A Silvey Family Tale" news, I'm working and starting a  pledge for charity. For every one who reposts my blog to their facebook, twitter, myspace (lol), ect. I'll donate a hat for pre-mature infants in the Nicu. I haven't decided if this will work or set all the rules/chosen a hospital, but I'd really like to help the nicu and give you guys a chance to help as well. So for now what you can do is comment below and tell me what you think!

Ok, last thing. I promise! I've started to run out of pictures! D: So if you or someone you've worked with would be willing to do a Silvey Family Photoshoot, let me know!

Thanks,

Ashley
